EBMUD (East Bay Municipal Utility District) - Oakland, CA (See M. Greenberg and Mueller for the EBMUD models)
· This large water utility is a "crossover" into the manufacturers. Their designs were based on M. Greenberg hydrant models; and most were made by M. Greenberg with a few by Mueller. Where the M. Greenberg base models used integral cast collars in which the stem guides were completely recessed; the EBMUD versions had the bronze stem guides exposed because they screwed directly into the side of the barrel.
